PRP, also known as Platelet-Rich-Plasma is derived from collecting blood from your own body, putting it into a centrifuge and spinning it down to separate the red blood cells from the plasma, which is a gold colored substance that is left from the separation. This “liquid gold” as we call it, contains hundreds of growth factors and is used in esthetics for a variety of treatments such as facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, recovery and more recently for vaginal rejuvenation.

Under Eye Dark Circles

By injecting your PRP to the under eye area, we are able to increase blood flow, and inject growth factors which will allow for the dark circles to naturally lighten up and the hollows to be corrected. Different from dermal fillers, when PRP is injected under the eyes, you will have an immediate “filled” look, which is mostly swelling that will subside within a few days. The PRP stimulates your own collagen and elastin which will result in a natural look. A series of 3-4 treatments are necessary to naturally stimulate your own collagen and give you natural results that will last.

Hair Restoration

When PRP is injected into the scalp, we are able to stimulate hair follicles that have lost blood flow, resulting in thinning hair and hair loss. At Cupertino Facial Esthetics, we always draw 2 tubes of blood in order to inject double the amount of PRP into the scalp. We know that the more PRP we are injecting, the better results we will get and the thicker your overall hair growth will be.

A series of 4-6 treatments are necessary spaced out every 4-6 weeks. After your first treatment, you will notice less hair falling out. After your second or third treatment you will notice thicker overall hair and possibly some baby hairs beginning to grow (fine, thin hairs). After your 4th, 5th and 6th treatment you should notice an increase in the current results. However, your biggest boost of hair growth occurs 3 months after your last PRP injection. G-Spot Shot

The G-Spot Shot, also known as the O-Shot, is when we inject your PRP into the inner and outer vaginal area to promote increased sexual stimulation, treat incontinence, tighten and overall vaginal rejuvenation. One to two treatments can be necessary. You will start to notice results 4-6 weeks after your injection and results can last 12-15 months. No physical activity, intercourse or vigorous exercise for 24 hours after the procedure. You can resume normal day to day activity immediately following the treatment. Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)

Plasma is the liquid part of blood that is composed mostly of proteins and water.
